The company began manufacture of steel access covers and frames as Broads in the middle of the last century. Production was moved to the existing West Bromwich steel shop in the 1980's. Since then the company has evolved through owners such as Brickhouse Dudley Manufacturing, Glynwed Brickhouse, Saint-Gobain Pipelines plc and in 2007, Steelway Fensecure Ltd, where it continues to be a leading manufacturer in its field. Our core manufacturing facility is located in West Bromwich in the heart of the Midlands motorway network. We manufacture products to the highest standards and specifications and have vast expertise, knowledge and experience. Our customers continue to receive the best products for the application, the highest level of service and unrivalled technical support. Our technical sales and design departments are equipped with the latest technology systems. By utilising our 3D and CAD design facilities in conjunction with communication and IT systems, we ensure our customers rapid response to enquiries and orders. We continue to invest in our manufacturing facilities incorporating the latest laser cutting technology. This coupled with CNC press brake machines and CNC multi axis saws enabling us to produce products of the highest quality. Steelway Brickhouse produce fabrications for use in the Water, Sewer, Telecommunication, Power, Rail, Domestic and Industrial and Commercial markets in mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium. Our current portfolio also includes anti terrorist and high security products accredited to LPS 1175 level 4 through the Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB). We offer a full technical support package to our entire customer base which includes site surveys, drawing take-offs and collaboration. We now have a highly trained, fully equipped team of installation engineers allowing us to offer a full installation package for sites in the UK. All our products are manufactured and installed in accordance with the company's BS EN ISO 9001 Quality Assurance Accreditation and ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems. We hold kitemark approval to BS EN 124 on our communications range. All other products are designed and fabricated to the Fabricated Access Cover Trade Association standard (FACTA) where we one of the founder members.
